The most common and busiest local restaurant here in Hong Kong, called Cha Chaan Teng. Since western food was getting popular after the World War II, local restaurants started offering western food with more affordable price. You will find a fusion of East and West here in Cha Chaan Teng.
Cha Chaan Teng has the highest efficiency in Hong Kong, taking order and deliver food within 10-15 minutes during rush hour. Yet waiters might expect customers finish their meal as soon as possible.
Pineapple Bun (Bo Lo Bao)
One of the most popular local foods. In fact it doesn’t contain pineapples. Its name because it looks like a pineapple. Better to have it filling with a piece of butter in the middle which is called Pineapple Bun Butter (Bo Lo Yau).
Egg Tart
Another Hong Kong’s favor, which is a puffy pastry filled with sweet egg custard. There is a Portuguese version in Macau that is caramelized on top.
Hong Kong-style French toast (Sai Do Si)
Deep-fried toast sandwich stacked with peanut butter, always a piece of butter on top and served with syrup or condensed milk. No doubt to force you to stop if you are a sweetness lover.
Milk Tea
The iconic beverage of Hong Kong. With the addtion of evaporated milk and condensed milk, a thick silky milk tea would wake you up better than a coffee.
7 Up/Sprite with Salted Lemon
Originally invented from Hong Kong since the old locals believe that salted lemon is good for curing a sore throat. The mixed drink results in special and refreshing taste.

Red Bean Ice
A classic of dessert drink all over Cha Chaan Teng. Sweet red bean paste mixed with evaporated milk and sharved ice, some of them topped with ice cream.
Beef Instant Noodles
Locals usually have it as a quick breakfast. Come with buttered toasts and a omelette in the morning set.
Baked Pork Chops with Fried Rice
Juicy fatty pork chops baked with fried rice, tomatos and pineapple. It is a meant to be a combination between east and west.
Dry-fried Beef Noodles
A super special Stir-fried dish. Comparing to normal noodles, rice noodles (Hor Fun) are flatter and softer. Fried with beefs, bean sprouts and soy sause make its own flavor and texture.
